Day 12

Day Twelve

September 20, 2010

I am actually writing this entry one day late because yesterday I went right after school with some friends to the Puyallup Fair! But I will get to that in a bit.

School was somewhat uneventful and dull. We did our work in our classes and when I wasn't working I was reading my book. Today is one day where I will not talk about what happened at school :D.

I have three amazing friends and the four of us make the "FAWM 4." FAWM stands for Fearfully And Wonderfully Made (Ps 139:14). We decided that all four of us would go to the fair together. Unfortunately, our schedules are all jam packed from school, sports, work, drivers ed., youth group, Bible study, AWANA, and family! The only day that we could go to the fair together simply did not exist. One of us couldn't go so for the night we were the FAWM 3.

Our goal is to share God's love wherever we go- including the fair! We decided to compliment at least one person before we go on every ride. We ended up complimenting at least five people :D. The first compliment was to a sweet lady who came with her brother. We were in line for the Tilt a Whirl when I noticed her hat. She had on a baseball cap with the tag still on it that said "C.I.A.- Christians In Action." It turns out that they are both firm believers in Jesus Christ! We had a long conversation about how awesome God is and how we want to share that with everyone!

As the night went on we made so many friends just by complimenting and/or talking to the people we were standing in line with. School is not the only place to stay alert- we were able to share the gospel while waiting in line for the fair rides.

Ephesians 6:18;

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

Colossians 3:12;

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
